· Thick black thread
· 2–3 bundles of human hair (based on your desired volume & length)

🧵 How to Make a Headband Wig (Step by Step)

Step 1: Pin Down the Wig Cap

Place the wig cap on your mannequin head and secure it with pins so it doesn't shift while you sew.

Step 2: Sew the Headband onto the Cap

Cut the headband at the center seam and fold it in half to find the midpoint. Align it evenly on the front edge of the wig cap and pin it in place.

Using your C-needle and thread, sew the headband around the perimeter of the cap. Make sure to double-knot at both the start and finish for a sturdy hold.

Step 3: Sew in the Hair Bundles

Start sewing your first hair weft near the bottom edge of the wig cap. Use the same C-needle and thick thread, sewing from one side to the other.

Leave about ¼ to ½ inch (0.6 to 1.2 cm) of space between each track, and continue layering until you've covered the whole cap.

Double-knot each weft when you finish a row to lock it in securely.

Sew in four wig clips — two on each side, one in front, and one in the back for extra grip.
